Thanks Cosy, I'm glad she is doing better as well and that she ended up having to stay overnight. I was in the camp that it was too soon to release her that day.

My wife had the car that normally sits in the garage, which is why I pulled the other one in for a bit. Probably would have been okay but I want to make sure it still knows I care!

crazy weather we're having here...one day its snowing and the next its in the 60's and sunny....though I think they only said rain for the next week....

and its April...cant believe this year is going so fast (and got more bad news--another death in the extended family not a very happy year either).

We had some crazy weather on Saturday. One second it was sunny, then it was raining, then it was like full on blizzard, before going back to sunny. Wat? Gosh darn it April! GET IT TOGETHER!

The year has gone by pretty fast. Already April, 4 months in! Dang!

She actually was back in the hospital but has been released today to go home again. Just some fluid build up which I guess was normal...

Sorry to hear about the death in the family cosy...

Still hot here in Texas, but we keep getting random cool days. Works for me.

Solid bunnies are definitely better than the hollow ones. But I'll take either given the opportunity.

Been very cool here... Come on guys, it is April! Where is my 60 degrees? No more snow please!

yes, I think I will agree on that...any chocolate bunny (except those swiss colony or russell stover not quite chocolate ones ---bleh) is better than no chocolate bunny at all.

and...more snow last 2 mornings have had some on our balcony...I KNOW the calendar says april...have we moved to canada????

that is impressive....in any month.

weather has been getting better--though there was snow in green bay and detroit the other day
and now its....allergy time but at least I should be able to open the balcony door up soon and get some clean air into the condo....looking forward to 'cleaning' the place out a bit (and time to put away the winter blankets and flannel sheets).

very happy to finally see spring coming!

I found it less impressive and more annoying. Either way definitely unexpected to say the least.

Weather here is now beautiful. 70's and sunny out. Have we finally hit Spring?!?!

We had the windows open pretty much all weekend but when I got home today I put the air on. 83 outside and 80 inside... Hmm, ya that is A/C weather I think... Definitely feels like spring now!

yep, when it hits the 81 mark in here in the mid evening I know its a/c time (leaving the door open after the sun goes down just leaves an open invite to any and all bugs to 'come on in') so we have had the a/c on the whole weekend

Meanwhile in Texas...... we are floating away

Thankfully in a place that is high and dry but not so much for many others around. Worst flooding we've had in a long time. More rain is predicted. Hopefully it goes away......

I have those ark plans

also been watching the news in japan....my favorite castle was damaged in the earthquakes they had last week I visited Kumamoto back in 2003 and took almost 2 rolls of film on just kumamoto castle (that is more than 50 photos...I think I was using the 40/roll film--and with the price of buying film, carrying them all around in my single backpack, and then developing...2 rolls is a LOT of film time for one subject of mine!)

so here is a photo I took of it back then

Haha might need them, but thankfully so far not much more rain. Some more places got flooded today because rivers still bringing in more water though. Really bad here.

Yeah we have friends in Kumamoto and my uncle has family in Kumamoto. Thankfully they are all okay but many people are out of their homes and living in their cars. Finally down to 50 aftershocks a day. Big improvement.

Visited the castle in 2012. Really cool place. Due to a bunch of unfortunate events that day I didn't get to see all of the castle.

ooooooo FAMILY in japan....we need to talk sometime

Glad they are ok and that you havent floated away either.
Earthquakes in Japan are really scary---you never know if its a big one, or just little aftershocks....I was in Nagoya during the big one that hit the Nagano area in 04? (cant remember exactly)....I remember the aftershocks we had and trying to find a table to hide under, only to find the coffee table and kotastu I wouldnt fit under ...had to stand in a doorway.

I was in southern Kyushu twice (both times at christmas)...really enjoyed it and was a nice place to have christmas; took quite a few trips to Fukoaka...and Shiminoseki (it being the end of the shinkansen as well as there being a really nice stuffed toy animal store ....You&&&Me--alas they now sell on yahoo auctions so no need to visit, and good thing as I have no plans to make another long plane ride).
Do you speak/read any japanese????
